Welcome — start here

Welcome. This is where the access details in Wayfind come from.

Guidebooks go stale. An elevator breaks in March and the venue’s website still says nothing about it in August. The person who turned up and found out is worth more than any official feed — so this is the place to write that down.

What goes where

  • Accessibility Tips — first-hand detail. Entrances, surfaces, step counts, quiet spaces, what the staff were actually like.
  • Trip Stories — how it really went, including the parts that didn’t work.
  • City Guides — corrections to the published guides. The fastest way to fix one for the next person.
  • Local Discovery — not travel. The place near you that got it right.
  • Ask the Community — questions about anywhere.
  • App Feedback — bugs, requests, things that make no sense.

Two things worth knowing

Write what you saw. If you’re passing on something secondhand, or you’re not certain, say so. Somebody may plan a day around it, and “I think there’s a ramp” and “there’s a ramp” are very different sentences to act on.

Access questions get answered by people. There is one staff account here, @wayfind_assistant, which handles product and billing questions and says plainly in its bio that its replies are AI-drafted with human oversight. It does not answer questions about terrain, surfaces, steps, noise or sensory load — those go to someone who has actually been there. Why that line exists.

Wayfind is built by one person and is in TestFlight beta. If something here is broken, say so — it probably is.
